One Fyfe Beach Bach is the perfect choice for an easy-going, relaxed holiday that is truly family-friendly. There’s something to keep everyone entertained – from the youngest guests to the young at heart.
Of course, the star attraction is the breathtaking Waihi beach, offering nine kilometres of white sand, one of the safest surf breaks in New Zealand and a host of boutique shops and delicious eateries. The beach is just a few minutes’ walk away from One Fyfe – simply throw your towels and a picnic into our beach trolley and head off for an unforgettable day of sand and surf.
The bach itself offers no shortage of things to do. Children will relish the freedom to explore our huge lawn and double-storey tree house, while parents can savour the peace of mind of knowing the area is fenced along the road frontage. There’s an activity drawer in the lounge that’s simply bursting with fun things for creative little minds to get stuck into, and the cosy ‘den’ bedroom (which sleeps up to three) has an edited selection of books and toys.
If rain stops play or a duvet day beckons, our DVD library provides a selection of movies for the family to snuggle down and enjoy together, and our ultra-fast and free WiFi plus chromecast is also on standby to stream Netflix. We’ve also tried to make life easier by providing a range of equipment that we think will be useful for families with babies and young children. The following is all on-hand at the bach for you to borrow:

- Travel cot
- Potty
- Step stool
- Two highchairs
- Bamboo plates, bowls and mugs
- Melamine cups
- Child-friendly cutlery
Our handy utility area has an extra-large sink and a combination washer/dryer, so is perfect for keeping on top of laundry. It even has its own outside entrance, making it quick and easy to rinse off sandy togs and feet after a day at the beach.
